Mr. Fellman is currently in his sixth year as Director of Choirs at Oñate High School in Las Cruces, NM. In 2015, Las Cruces Magazine named him an “Illuminator of Minds-1 of 51 Educators who shine beyond the classroom.” He has been nominated twice by his district as NMMEA New and Emerging Teacher of the Year. He is particularly passionate about being involved in his district and community having prepared professional development sessions related to choral music education in the public schools and community choirs.
